Description | WhakamāramaDuring Mana Moana campaign protesting Pare Hauraki cross claims into Tauranga from 2017 – 2019, there were a series of Ahikā, bonfires, in key areas around Tauranga which symbolise Tauranga Iwi ahikā to these areas. The ahikā kaupapa were an opportunity for Tauranga whānau to gather and hear updates on the Pare Hauraki cross claims.
